The early bird gets the birds! Set your alarm and have the coffee ready for this unique early start hike. We will meet at the entrance of Tommy Thompson Park (aka the Leslie Street Spit) at 7:30. That's 7:30 a.m.! The Park is a natural wonder in Toronto. It began as landfill but has been reclaimed by nature. A stop-over point for migrating songbirds, TTP has recorded over 300 species and is designated as an internationally acclaimed Important Bird Area. May is prime migratory time and early morning is the best opportunity to see the birds. We will wander over various nature trails and have a chance to meet with workers who band and track birds.

Meeting Time: 7:30 AM!

Meeting Place: The entrance to Tommy Thompson Park
